Florence Grace Oliver (nee Lush) passed away peacefully at her home in Fergus on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at the age of 85. Born on December 25, 1935 in Meaford, Ontario. A Christmas Angel. Florence is survived by her loving and devoted husband and best friend of 64 years, Donald Oliver and her fur-baby Lucy. She is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her daughters, Deborah Oliver-Latendre and her husband Raymond of Guelph, Diane Oliver and her husband Dennis Tiller and their son Tyler of Fergus. “Happy Mother’s Day Mom.” Florence will be greatly missed by her brother Gerald Lush (late Karen) of Cambridge, Ontario, who loved to tease her constantly. Also survived by her brother Ronald Lush (Linda) of Meaford. Predeceased by her sister Pearl Whitfield (late Clarence) and brother Murray Lush. Also predeceased by brothers-in-law Doug Oliver (late Gwen), Fred Oliver (late Alma) and James Oliver (late Joanne). She is fondly remembered by her Aunt Grace Reid (late Glen), sister-in-law Judith Oliver (late James) and by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. Private family service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford at a later date. A special thank you to Care Partners’ PSW’s: Beverley, Esther, Mark, Michelle, Renée and many others for taking such good care of Florence and becoming part of the family. We would also like to thank Dr. Amanda Wagler and the staff at Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus, for the continued compassion and care she received.
