O’Donnell, Brendan; Peacefully at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener on Sunday August 10, 2008 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Ethel O’Donnell of Arthur. Dear father of Judy (Gordon) Bannister, Tim (Sue) O’Donnell, Patti (Andy) Dyce, Monica (Eldon) McLean, John (Kim) O’Donnell, Steve (Nancy) O’Donnell, Terry (Kate) O’Donnell and Bryan O’Donnell, all of Arthur, Cathy (Brian) Hostrawser of Belwood, Peter (Becky) O’Donnell of Fergus and Suzy (George) Anderson of Elora. Loving grandpa of thirty grandchildren and eighteen great grand children. Survived by sisters Theresa Saunders and Sheila Stortz, brother Fred (Veronica) O’Donnell, all of Arthur and sisters-in-law Rose O’Donnell of Arthur and Peggy O’Donnell of Cambridge. Predeceased by his brothers Wilfred, Jim and Mike. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 7-9pm and Wednesday, August 13, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Parish prayers were said in the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:30pm. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John R. C. Church, Arthur on Thursday August 14, 2008 at 10:30am Father Edward Hinsperger celebrant. Interment St. John R.C. Cemetery, Arthur followed. Remembrances to Groves Memorial Hospital CT Scan would be greatly appreciated by the family.
