NIESIOBEDZKI-CURTIS, Pamela “Pam”

With deep sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Pamela “Pam” Niesiobedzki-Curtis on Friday, October 25, 2024, at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, at the age of 72. Pam was the beloved wife of Michael Curtis, with whom she shared 40 wonderful years. She was a devoted mother to Tavia Niesiobedzki (Philip Bradshaw) and Shauna Curtis, as well as a proud and loving grandmother to Meadow and Audrey. Pam was the eldest daughter of Orval and the late Dorothy Thornton and a cherished sister to Cheri Davidson, Tammy (Paul) Thornton, Patricia Thornton, Kim (Kevin) Lott, and Mickey (Jim) Thornton. Her passion for theatre was a defining aspect of her life; she was an active member of various local theatre groups, including the Georgetown Little Theatre, Guelph Little Theatre, Caledon Town Hall Players, Blackhorse Village Players, and the Milton Players Theatre Group. Pam will be forever remembered for her dedication to the arts and her vibrant spirit. Friends and family were invited to pay their respects at Jones Funeral Home, 11582 Trafalgar Road, Georgetown, on Tuesday, October 29th, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A funeral service was held at All Saints Anglican Church, 81 Main Street, Erin, Ontario, on Wednesday, October 30th, 2024, at 11:00am. Interment followed at Coningsby Cemetery, Fifth Line, Erin, ON. Memorial contributions to the Grand River Hospital Foundation in her name would be greatly appreciated by the family. Pam’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
