Morton, Albert Edward, Veteran WWII. Passed away at home, as peacefully as he lived, on July 23, 2012, at the age of 86. Survived by Ada, his wife of 55 years. Proud and loving father of Ted (Lena), Carol (Peter dec.) Turner, Pamela (Douglas) Wylie, Joy (Paul) Murray, Dee Ashthorn and Albert jr. (Melissa). Fond grandfather of six, and counting. Cremation has taken place. Albert was born in London, England. He was a surveyor at Stelco in Hamilton for 40 years. Albert loved travel, Broadway shows and spending time with his family. He was a kind and gentle man, who will be greatly missed. Albert, the youngest and last surviving member of his family, served 4 years overseas during WWII, together with his six brothers, George, Will, Fred, Harry, Arthur and John (M.I.A.), soldiers all seven.
