Mortley, Grace Elizabeth (Small); “Entered into eternal rest”. After having celebrated Thanksgiving Day with her family at son Robert’s place, she returned home and peacefully departed this life shortly after 11pm in her 82nd year. Grace is the beloved wife of Charles Mortley for fifty-eight years. Loving mother of Paul (Elizabeth) of Regina, Sask., Bevin (Brenda) of Arthur, Stephen of Virgil and Robert of Alma. Grandma of twelve grandchildren, one deceased, all who were her treasures. Grace was born in Arthur Township on December 18, 1929, the last surviving family member of John and Delphia Small. She was a dutiful wife, mother and homemaker. A faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. A rural school teacher, a gifted piano and accordion player. She delighted in data recording and kept a daily diary for forty years. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St., Arthur on Friday, October 14, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service was held from Alma Bible Church, 59 Peel St. E., Alma on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at 10:30am. Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur followed.
