Obituary

Following a brief and terminal illness, Pauline Margaret Morris, age 73, of Middleton NS, passed away peacefully, on July 31, 2021, at Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville Nova Scotia. In her final hours, her best friend, Mrs. Olga Mackay, and daughter Liz, stood bedside, offering both kindness, and compassionate care. Of which, they will never be forgotten. She is survived, by one sister, Patricia Morris of Hanover ON. And although, miles apart, at the time of her passing. Both, already knew. That from, cradle to grave. And even in death. Their sisterly bond, would never be broken. And they will meet again, at another time. Pauline, was born January 8, 1948. She was the youngest daughter, of the late, Stan J. Morris, and Viola (Spears) Morris of Mount Forest ON. Her life, would find her living in numerous locations, and gathering an abundance of friends, and friendships, wherever she went. She was the type of person, who you were always happy to meet, and in most cases, could never forget. Always pleasant. Easy, to smile. And interesting, to share conversation with, if your interests were similar to hers. She was an excellent amateur water-colorist, who produced many paintings, which she would sometimes sell, or more so, gift to others because of their friendship. She had a deep love of both the Art’s and Books. Was an avid antiques collector. And knew quality, as soon as she saw it. She had a slight humourous obsession, attached to this hobby and could very seldom, if ever, pass a Thrift Store, without dropping in. It was like treasure hunting for her. Where a tossed item by one, was quickly turned into a cherished treasure by another, who provided it with a loving home. She lived a good life. And her life. Exactly the way she wanted it. And was both generous and kind of heart, towards those of whom she shared it with. Please no tears, in your thoughts! If she crosses your mind periodically? Then, just smile!! As I know, that she’ll be smiling, right back, at you. There will be no service. Cremation, has taken place and her remains will be held by her sister. When at a later date, both Patricia, and Pauline Morris, will be laid to rest together, in the Morris Plot, at Holy Cross, Catholic Cemetery, in Mount Forest, ON.
