MORAN, Janice

Of Puslinch, ON, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2024, at the Guelph General Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was a cherished wife, devoted mother, stepmother, and grandmother whose presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Janice is survived by her husband, Wallace “Wally”. Together, they shared 44 years of love and companionship, laying the foundation for a strong enduring family that would do anything for one another, including sharing some good-natured ribbing. As a mother, Janice’s nurturing spirit and unwavering support were evident in every aspect of her life. She leaves behind her adoring sons, Derek and Ryan “her boys”, who were not only her pride and joy but also a testament to her strength and dedication as a mother. Janice was a beloved mother-in-law to Debbie and Tasha, both of whom she regarded more like daughters than in-laws, reflecting the boundless love and acceptance Janice extended to all. Janice embraced her role as a stepmother with grace and kindness, providing love and guidance to Christine and Michael, who preceded her in passing. Though they are no longer with us, their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them dearly. Janice’s greatest joy in life was found in her role as a grandmother. She adored her grandchildren, Jeniqua, Damon, Alexis, Mackenzie, Cody, and Sara, showering them with love, laughter, and endless affection. Her legacy lives on through the memories and lessons she imparted upon them, not to mention her cherished recipes, each one a family favourite. Janice will be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Though she may no longer walk beside us, her presence will forever be felt in the lives of those she touched. Friends will be received at Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, on Monday, June 10, 2024 from 6:00-8:00pm.
