Moore, Ilene; Passed away peacefully at Saugeen Valley Nursing Centre in Mt Forest on Sunday, April 3rd, 2011 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Wray Moore. Loving mother of Bonnie Gerhardt (Larry), the late Bettie Moore, John Moore (Trina), Judie Moore and Jim Moore (Denise McDonald). Proud grandmother of Dana, Leah and Aaron Gerhardt, Karly, Taylor, Whitney, and Alana Moore, Jenneen, Christopher, Marcus and the late Lucas Shortreed, Jack and Louis Moore and great grandmother of Evan Gerhardt. Predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, the late Vernon and the late Charlotte Smith and fondly remembered by brothers Cecil (June) Smith, and Sherman (Joyce) Smith. Rested at the Thomson Funeral Home, Fergus. Visitation was held Wednesday, April 6 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 7 in the chapel at 11am. Interment at Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus. In memoriam, donations may be made at the funeral home or online to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Melville United Church.
