Of Harriston passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024 unexpectedly and peacefully at the age of 79. Loving father of Julie Mitchell and Al MacDonald, and Jeff and Christa Mitchell. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Linda and Bernie Krotz, Allan and Kathy Mitchell, Don and Brenda Mitchell, and Joy and Mac Raynard. Grandpa to Austin Coelho, Stephanie and John Blake, Laura and Phil Boertien, Kurtis Mitchell, Mark Mitchell, and Tyson Mitchell. Great Grandpa to Kaleigh, Evan, Karson, Baz, and Brielle. Steven is also remembered by his former wife and companion, Diane Baugh, his step children Sandy Morden, and John and Cindy Morden, and his step grandchildren Olivia, Johnny and Gracie Morden. Predeceased by his parents Elwood (2010) and Lucy (2000). A celebration of Steve’s life will be held at the Harriston Legion on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00pm with words of remembrance at 2:30pm.
