With great sadness our family announces the peaceful passing of Norma – Mom – Grammy – Gi-Gi on Sunday, May 15th, 2022. Norma had just turned 91 on Sunday, May 8th. Much loved wife of George for 71+ years. Loving Mother of Sylvia, Debbie, Mark, Robbie (Tonya), Lorraine (Tom), Patricia (deceased 1971). Adored Grammy of Angi (Gord), Michael, Emilie (Mike), Shawn (Poppy), Jasmine, Morgan, Samantha (Ryley), Jennifer (Tyson). Cherished Gi-Gi of Ivy (Brandon), Mitchell, Olivia, Logan. Norma & George have lived on the 14th since their wedding. Over their lifetime they had dairy cows, beef cattle, and later farmed cash crops. Throughout her life, Norma worked at various crafts such as making leather products, macramé sewing, and playing piano and organ. She discovered she had a talent for painting with oils, acrylic, and watercolour, and she refinished old frames to display her work. Mom was always supportive of her family. Her humour and fashion sense never ceased to amaze us. George and Norma loved to golf together. Many times at the trailer and cottage were enjoyed with friends and family. We love you and miss you forever. There will be a private family gathering and interment in Derryadd Cemetery. In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Listowel Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston.
