Millson, Irene Mae (nee Small); It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Irene Millson on Saturday, October 8th at her home at Riverside Glen, Guelph at the age of 75. She was the loving mother of Ed (Sandra), Bob (Elaine), Neil (Trish), Nancy Halliburton (Richard), Alan (Karen), Murray (Laura), Catherine Kingsley (Peter) and Carolyn Farrell (Rob). She was the beloved grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Irene is survived by her brothers and sisters Keith Small (Marjorie), Fern McLean (Bob), Roy Small (Carol), Ross Small (Betty), Mildred Francis (Jim Stewart), Lorne Small (Jennifer) Glen Small, Ruth Kerr (Terry), Alice Millson (Cliff 2010), Ruth Millson (Elmer 2009) and Bernice Millson (Morley 2010). Irene was predeceased by her husband Gordon (2001) and Parents Elvet (1985) and Myrtle (1999) Small. She will be missed by many friends and relatives. Mom was an avid sewer, quilter and knitter and will always be remembered for her beautiful work. Friends were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Wednesday (2-4pm & 7-9pm). Funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, October 13, 2011, at 2pm. Interment at Rockwood Cemetery.
