It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Kerry Gordon Mills on Saturday June 3rd, 2023 in his 67th year. He is dearly missed by his cherished daughter Georgia Mills of Toronto. His mom Audrey (Ken Rookes) his brother’s Kevin (Rae Saville) and Scott (Natalie Marcoux). He is fondly remembered by his nieces Kate, Sara, Zoe and nephew Zac of Winnipeg and his many nieces and nephews in Ontario will miss him greatly. Kerry was known to cook a great meal, he enjoyed a cold one while watching his beloved Blue Jays. He dearly loved his family. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs and enjoyed reading a good book. He appreciated and enjoyed his Toronto acting troupe “Sorry Eagle Productions” where he formed many life long friendships. Kerry got a job with Canada post in Toronto, where he continued to work there, commuting from his “little slice of heaven home” on Murphy road in Mount Forest. Later Kerry would start plucking on the guitar and his friend Chris recognized his talent and they formed Mount Forest’s famous band The Cosells. They played at pig roasts, school BBQs and Chris’s garage just falling short of playing the stadium venues, the boys played always with smiles on their faces. The last several months were difficult for Kerry while undergoing cancer treatment. Special thanks to his dear friend Johnny of Fergus and Janice of Elmira, whose special care at a very difficult time was greatly appreciated. Thank you to Grand River Hospital and Wellington Hospice for their compassion and quality care. Kerry never gave up hope and was positive until the very end. In Kerry’s memory; appreciate the small things, hug your loved ones and be kind to each other.
