Miles, Esther May; After a brief battle with lung cancer “our Essie” passed away on December 22, 2009 at Groves Hospital in Fergus. At peace she joins her parents Myrtle and Bill Miles, sister Myrt Hansen and brother Joe Miles. Essie leaves behind with love her sisters Muriel Faulkner (Morris) of Fergus, Ann Levesque (Real) of Iron Bridge, brother-in-law Ben Hansen of Fergus and many nieces and nephews and their children. She will be lovingly remembered by her many cousins from Ireland and Canada and dearly missed by her best friend Kay Nix of Toronto and special friend Norm Bergin of Fergus. Service was held at St. James Anglican Church, 171 Queen St. west in Fergus, on Wednesday, December 30th, 2009 at 11am. Interment to take place at Belsyde Cemetery in Fergus. In lieu of flowers, donations to the cancer society or to Groves Hospital in Fergus would be appreciated. Donation cards will be available at the Church on the day of the service.
