Passed away peacefully at Palmerston Hospital on Sunday March 20th, 2022 in her 89th year. Predeceased by her husband Evert and daughter Hetty. Fondly remembered by daughter Ellie and Noel Jensen of Kitchener, Son Ed and Kim Meulenbelt of Rothsay. Oma will be missed by her five grandchildren Tyla, Wes and Quinn Jensen and Marina and Darren Meulenbelt. Siblings Dave (Lyda) of Port Moody BC, Marinus (the Late Diane) of Fort Saskatchewan Alberta, Harry (Jean) of Guelph, Seitze (Donna) of Guelph and the late John and Sister and Law Jan of Guelph. Remembered by Evert’s family, Rolf (Allie) of Saskatoon and Henny (Sandy) Sanderson of Bluevale. Aunt Jenny will be fondly remembered by Nieces and Nephews. Jenny came to Canada from Holland in 1952 and lived briefly in Saskatoon before settling with her new husband Evert in Ontario. Rothsay was their home for over 50 years where they raised their family and made lifelong friends. Her dedication to the St. James United Church in Rothsay was felt in both the church and the UCW. A private family service will be held in the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton. As a memorial to Jenny donations to the Palmerston Hospital Foundation or Diabetes Association of Canada would be appreciated.
