Meinzinger, Roger Jerome; (July 1, 1946 – September 15, 2013). At age 67 on September 15th, 2013. Predeceased by his loving wife Barb (2012); his parents Ruth and Earl Meinzinger and his brothers Gary and Paul. Survived by his children Jennifer Butts (Gregg), Sean Butts and Papa to Quinn. Also survived by his sister Sharon and brother-in-law Brian Leonard and his Haslett family, Bev, George, Brian, Seanie and Marilyn and his nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Kingsley), Corey (Holly), Miranda (Jamie) and Chad and their children. Roger was a mechanic at Imperial Tobacco, a lifetime member of the Shifters Car Club, an active member of The Friends of the Grand and the Wednesday Sr. Curling in Elora and the Elora Legion Br 229. His passions in life were fishing, skiing, woodworking, golfing and antique cars. Roger will be missed by his best friend Ed Wallace and his trailer families at Hidden Valley in Turkey Point and Yuma Arizona. Special thanks to his friends who were with him in his final moments. Friends will be received at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 280 St. David St. South in Fergus, on Thursday, September 19th, from 2:00 – 4:00pm and 7:00- 9:00 pm and from 10:00-11:00 am prior to the service. A funeral Service will be conducted in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 20th at 11:00am.
