McTAVISH, Ron, of Drumbo passed away peacefully at the St. Mary’s Hospital on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in his 80th year. Beloved husband of the late Sandra (Steuernol) McTavish (2012). Cherished father of Barry McTavish (Cindy) of Listowel, Beverly Runstedler-Smits (Nick) of Woodstock, Belinda Chenoweth (Bob) of Plattsville and Bonnie McTavish of Waterloo. Grandfather of Tracey VanLoo (Andrew); John Runstedler, Ronnie Runstedler (Summer), Christopher Runstedler and Bryan Runstedler; Shawn Chenoweth and Kelley Chenoweth (Andrew). Dearly remembered by his 7 great grandchildren. Brother of Jeannie Stanley of Toronto. Brother-in-law of Rhonda Morton (Rick)of Peterborough, Connie Bates (Wayne) of Palmerston, Richard Steuernol (Faye) of Ottawa and Bill Steuernol (Marilyn) of Palmerston. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his grandson Chad Chenoweth (2000) his parents Leslie and Sarah McTavish, sisters and bothers-in-law Eva and Ted Hamilton, Viola and Cliff Adams, Rene and Leeson Graham, Sharon and Howard Guest, Howard Stanley, Fran and Ed Cameron and by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Jane and Harry Steuernol. To honour Ron’s wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Arthur on Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Interment Greenfield Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
