McFADDEN, Verna Victoria (Martin) of Arthur passed away peacefully at the Grove Memorial Hospital, Fergus on Thursday, December 8, 2016 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Ross McFadden (2000). Cherished mother of Bill and Lori McFadden of Belwood and Sharon McFadden of Guelph. Dear grandmother of Jennifer and Kyle Bodz of Mount Forest, Sandra McFadden of Arthur, Kevin McFadden and his fiancé Stephaney of Arthur. Great grandmother of Blake and Jackson. Sister of Reta Parkes of Owen Sound and Orville and Dorothy Martin of Hanover. Predeceased by her parents Ernest and Mernie Martin, sisters Doreen and Mernie. A special thank you to Stephanie for the care she gave Mom, also to the VON volunteer visitor Patti for the weekly visits that Mom enjoyed. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, Arthur on Sunday, December 11, 2016. Rev. Janet Sinclair conducted the Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Spring Interment in Grand Valley Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Knox Presbyterian Church Grand Valley would be appreciated by the family.
