The Lord Jesus drew near and gave her special help the last few steps of her journey. Then He wiped away a last tear; called her by name and said, “Isabelle, it’s time to come home with me. Well done good and faithful servant.” So ended the earthly sojourn of Isabelle McEachern at age 92. She selflessly served her Lord, her family and countless others until the end. Heaven alone will declare how many lives were blessed by her gentle, unassuming touch. Isabelle was the loving wife of Robert McEachern: the mother of Sandy (and Louise); Jack, Colleen Gee (and Paul). Grandmother to Alex, Alyssa, Curtis and Josh. “Mom” to a myriad of others. The family will receive their friends for visitation from 2:00 – 4:00pm & 7:00 – 9:00pm on Friday April 12, 2019 at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Homes-Waterloo Chapel, 617 King St. N. Waterloo (across from Home Depot). Service in the Chapel on Saturday April 13, 2019 at 2:00pm. Reception to follow. A private family interment will take place at Drayton Cemetery at a later date.
