McDOUGALL, Barbara Olive (nee Curzon) – Passed away peacefully at Wellington Terrace, Fergus, on Friday, September 21, 2018. Barb was born in Guelph on December 12, 1928. She was preceded by her husband, the late Lloyd Russell McDougall, and grandson Sean McDougall. She will be deeply missed by the whole family, her brothers; Gerald Curzon (Gwen) and Harold Curzon, her children; Anne Defreitas (Michael), Harry McDougall (Christine), Lloyd McDougall, Jr. (Melinda), Barbara Jean McDougall,(Charlie), and Cecil McDougall, and; her grandchildren, Mark Defreitas (Tina), Irene McDougall-Nugent (Brian), Ian McDougall (Sara), as well as great grandchildren; Hayden McDougall, Hunter McDougall, Sophie Defreitas, Christopher Nugent, and Jacob Nugent. At Barb’s request cremation has taken place. Visitation & celebration of life will take place on Sunday, September 30, 2018 between 1pm & 4pm at the Stonecroft Recreation Centre 156 Stonecroft Way, New Hamburg. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
