McCuaig, Shirley Jacqueline Margaret – Born January 10, 1931; died December 10, 2009 at Morriston Park Nursing Home, in her 79th year. Wife of the late Lloyd McCuaig (1985) and the late Arnold Quillman (1990). Loved mother of Sue (Norm) Visser, Peg McCuaig and John (Nance) McCuaig. Loving grandmother of four. Great grandmother of five. Predeceased by her parents, Morrison Neilson and Pearl Twigger and step-mother Ida Yule Dennie. Survived by sister, Marie (Cliff) Nuhn, half-siblings, Grace Schildroth, Catherine (John) McDonald, Jan (John) Meulensteen, Jack Neilson and step-siblings Clarence Dennie and Donald Dennie. Sister-in-law of Rita MacCuaig (the late Lawrence) and Katherine MacCuaig (the late Donald). She was also loved by many nieces and nephews. Friends were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph one hour prior to the funeral service which was held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, December 15, 2009, at 1pm, officiated by the Rev. Brenda Woodall. Spring interment at Crown Cemetery, Puslinch.
