McCAW, William (Bill) Gregory of Fergus passed away peacefully on Monday January 23 at Groves Memorial Hospital in his 71st year. Survived by his wife of 47 years Barbara McCaw (Muir). Loving father of Jennifer and her husband Neil Curry of Stratford. Dear brother-in-law of Donna and Joe Michlowski of Palmerston. Also survived by his aunt and extended family, and good friends far and wide. Bill was predeceased by his parents Bill and Vonny, his sister Joanne, and his in-laws Vera and Jim. Bill was a dedicated teacher for 33 years and in his retirement enjoyed his Clydesdale horses. He was the proud past Master of Mercer Lodge and a very proud member of the new Two Rivers Lodge in Fergus. In later years Bill enjoyed travelling with his family to Scotland and the Canadian Rockies. Bill was a lifetime blood donor, a veracious history buff and was very community minded. Bill will be laid to rest in the spring in his beloved Evergreen Cemetery in Haliburton alongside his ancestors. Donations to your favourite charity would be appreciated.
