It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wendy McAninch on July 2, 2024 in Richmond Hill, ON at the age of 73. Wendy grew up on a dairy farm north of Guelph being one of seven siblings. After graduating from the University of Guelph she had a long and successful career with the Royal Bank. Wendy always enjoyed a good Jays game, traveling, a cold glass of white wine and believed in giving generously to charity and helping those in need. Predeceased by her mother and father, Mary and Len McAninch, her brother Paul and her sister Carol as well as her sister in law’s Cathy McAninch and Cinny McAninch. Wendy will be dearly missed by her surviving brothers and sister; John (Jackie), Grant, Lynne (Grant), Mark (Donna). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews whom she loved as if they were her own, Brad, Jill, Steve, Victoria, Kim, James, Nicole, Jenn, Kyle, Amy, their spouses and her many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the homecare PSW’s, and nurses as well as the staff at Mackenzie Health for all of your amazing care during Wendy’s time of need. Resting at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 2723 Victoria St. N., Breslau, ON, where an intimate private service will take place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
