Marion Hilda Matthews (nee Smith), formerly of Durham and Mount Forest, passed away at Lee Manor, Owen Sound on Thursday, April 29th, 2021 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Matthews. Dear sister of Leonard Seifried, Kathleen Forbes, Shirley and her husband Garry Baker, and Betty Anne and her husband Don Riddell. Dear sister-in-law of Linda Smith, Doreen Matthews, and Gordon Marshall. Fondly remembered by the Matthews family and her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Hilda Smith, her brothers Les Seifried, Laverne Seifried and Jim Smith, her sisters-in-law Inez Seifried, Sandra Seifried, and her brother-in-law Vern Forbes. Visitation was held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Monday, May 3rd from 11:00am – 12:30pm. A private funeral service was held.
