Passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife of Amsey M. Martin. Dear mother of Delton of Walkerton, Laverne of Elmira, Elmer and Loretta of Mount Forest, David and Martha, Abner and Irene, and Elsie all of Elmira. Survived by 21 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Sister of Salome Weber, Selema (the late Paul) Martin, Hannah and Joseph Martin, Urias and Betty Weber, Amon and Mary Weber, and Wesley and Esther Weber; sister-in-law of Minerva and John Horst, Florence (the late Gordon) Martin, Selema (the late Mahlon) Martin, Alice and Aden Horst, Elsie and Amsey Weber. Predeceased by her parents Israel and Susannah Weber, brother Peter in infancy; brother-in-law Harvey (Velina) Martin and sister-in-law Viola (Ion) Gingrich. Friends called at her home, 6681 Reid Woods Dr., Elmira, on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 5-8pm and Friday, February 9, 2024 from 1-4pm and 5-7pm. A family service was held at the home at 9am on Saturday, February 10, 2024, then to Springfield Mennonite Meeting House for burial and further service.
