Marquardt, Jack A.; On Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Hamilton General Hospital. Jack Marquardt of R.R. #1 Alma. Beloved husband of the late Fay (Wilson) Marquardt (2000). Jack is lovingly remembered by Grace Hicks. Dear father of Julie and Marty Trapp of R.R.#1, Elmira, Greg and Linda of Elora, Brad and Wendy of R.R.#1, Alma. Jack’s memory will live on through his grandchildren Austin and Chloe Trapp, Wade and Bria Marquardt and Alexa Marquardt. Brother of Harold and Mary, Earl and Bonnie, Bruce and Marion, Ruth and Robert Tschanz. Jack will be missed by Grace’s children Cheryl and Keith Bridge and Heather Hicks. Predeceased by his parents Richard and Metha (Guenther) Marquardt and one brother Wilfred. The family received their friends and relatives at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Sunday, August 2nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 3rd at 11am with The Rev. Linda J. Bell officiating. Interment in Memory Gardens, Breslau. In his memory, donations to the Alma United Church or Palmerston and District Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
