MANTLER, Joseph Ferdinand of Elora and formerly of R.R. # 2 Drayton.passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in his 83rd year. Beloved husband of Frances Mantler for 61 years. Cherished father of Frank and Bonnie Mantler of Mount Forest, Kate and Larry Dance of Niverville, Manitoba, Jim and Deb Mantler R.R. # 2 Drayton, Gloria and Kevin Beyer of R.R. # 2 Harriston, Pat and Luke Dobben of R.R. # 1 Moorefield and Rick and Lynn Mantler of R.R. # 2 Drayton. Dearest grandfather and great grandfather of Shannon and Ryan South, Chayse and Austin, Frank Mantler Jr. Holly and Rob Kiesau, Owen, Ainsley and Ashley; Chris and Natalie Dance, Chad and Stephanie Dance; Laura Mantler and Julia Mantler; Stephanie and Kurt McGill, Alexis, Quintin and Jayce Clint and Natasha Beyer, Reghan and Kinsley. Kyle and Laura Beyer, Branten, Darren, Travis and Kenna, Nick and Maxine Beyer and son Maximus; Scott and Lindsey Dobben, Sasha and Hugh Shannon, the late Michael Dobben in infancy; Chantele and Scott Dunk, Devon Mantler, Kendra Mantler. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Alouisa (Wunderer) Mantler, one sister Mary Crowley, three brothers Franz Mantler, Albert Mantler and Erich Mantler. Brother-in-law of Irene Rezenoff, Jim Crowley, Marguerite Umbach and the late Ron, Maurice Downey and the late Rose, Eileen Downey and the late Carl, Jean Kraemer and the late Kevin, and Helen and Bert Moore. The Family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Drayton on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church, Drayton on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Private Interment in Drayton Cemetery.
