MacPherson, Winnifred Marjorie; Peacefully with her family by her side, at Groves Community Hospital, in Fergus, on Friday, April 22, 2011. Winnifred Webb, of Fergus, formerly of Hillsburgh and Georgetown, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim MacPherson (1979). Loving mother of Sharon and her husband Harvey Maxwell of Fergus, Shirley and her husband Allen McQueen of Fort Erie, and Jim and his wife Pat of Hillsburgh. Cherished grandmother of Brent (Laura), Cory and Bryan Maxwell, Terry Rouse, Jayson McQueen (Angela), Robert (Carol) MacPherson, Monique Chesterfield, Jodi (Terry) Leitch, and the late Jimmy MacPherson. A loving great grandmother to Kelly, Brittany and Joel MacPherson, Joey and Austin Leitch, and Douglas and William McQueen. Fondly remembered by her sister Dorothy and brother Gordon. Predeceased by her parents John and Alice Webb, her sister Mabel, brothers Jack, Ernie and Bernard. The family received friends for Visitation at the Butcher Family Funeral Home, 5399 Main Street, South, Erin, on Tuesday from 2-4, and 7-9pm. The Funeral Service was held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 81 Trafalgar Road, Hillsburgh, on Wednesday, April 27th at 11am. Rev. Reid Chudley officiated. Interment, Greenwood Cemetery, Georgetown. If desired, donations to Groves Hospital C.T. Fund, McMaster Children’s Hospital, or St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Hillsburgh, would be appreciated as expression of sympathy.
