Passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Freeport Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 84. Beloved husband of Ruth (nee Ramsay) for 57 years. Loving father of Kevin and Darrin. Dear brother of Alex (Linda). Remembered by nephews and niece. Predeceased by parents, Edna (nee Scott) and Cameron. Dave was a career salesman and eventual sale manager with the Wood/Wyant Company Ltd. for 42 years. Dave’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 and from 12-12:45pm on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial service will take place at 1:00pm on Thursday, May 2, 2024 in the funeral home chapel followed by a reception. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Breslau at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
