Lorch, Hans; passed away in Arthur on October 31, 2013 at the age of 84. Hans is predeceased by his wife Mary Kathleen “Mamie” (nee McHugh) Lorch. He is survived by his partner Erika Stephenson and is lovingly remembered by his sons John of Port Coquitlam, Kevin (Bonnie) and Graham (Beth) of Elora. A long-time resident of Elora, Hans was an avid skier and spent many years as an active member of the Toronto Soaring Club. His way of giving even in death was to graciously donate himself to the medical sciences and at his request, no funeral services were held. A celebration of life for close friends and family will be organized.
