LODGE, Emma Doreen

LODGE, Emma Doreen – It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Emma Doreen Lodge (nee Coke) on Sunday, August 6, 2017, in her 90th year. For the past year, Doreen has been lovingly cared for by the staff of Riverside Glen Residence. Beloved wife of the late Norman W. Lodge (2012), mother of Janice (Bryan) Stotesbury, Dayna (the late Ronald, 2014) Passmore, and the late Dale Lodge (1970). Much loved grandmother of Jason and Andrew Stotesbury, Shanna and Jeremy (Emily) Passmore. Doreen enjoyed many interesting years of assisting brides to fulfill their dreams, as the bridal consultant at Milady/Zacks, Guelph. Upon retirement, Doreen joined Norman on many trips exploring Europe, the British Isles and North America. Doreen also enjoyed participating in the Women’s Institute activities and gardening. Most of all though, she loved to look after her grandchildren and share her wisdom when they asked. Friends and family were received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph, Thursday August 10th 7-9 p.m., as well as one hour prior to the funeral service which will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Wall-Custance Family Reception Centre. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph. Memorial contributions to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan or SCAW (Sleeping Children Around the World) would be appreciated.
