On April 16th, 2024 Rosemary went peacefully to be with her Lord, Creator, and Saviour Jesus Christ, while at her home in Alma. Beloved wife of Marc Lejeune. Beloved mother of Michelle (Dean), and Robert (Holly). Dearly loved grandmother of Mariesa, Sydney, Ethan, Alaina, Isabella, and Lauren. Beloved sister of Bev (Doug) and Robert (Sharon). Rosemary was born in Hamilton, Ontario and spent much of her childhood in the Binbrook area. She worked as a nurse for many years, both at Toronto General Hospital and Grand River Hospital, spending the past 38 years in the Alma area, being involved in many aspects of her community. She experienced many health struggles related to diabetes throughout her journey on earth. By God’s grace she received a kidney and pancreas transplant, 17 and 13 years ago, respectively. She would often remark “Thank God for the years He has given me.” Transforming these hardships into blessings, Rosemary served as a volunteer with The Kidney Foundation, peritoneal dialysis support group, Grand River patient advocacy group, and Bethel Baptist Church. Visitation has been scheduled for Friday, April 26th, 2pm – 4pm and from 7pm – 9pm, at Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home located at 280 St. David St. S., Fergus. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 27th, 1pm, at Bethel Baptist Church located at 675 Victoria Terrace, Fergus, with a reception to follow. Any donations in memory of Rosemary can be made to Faith Mission Canada by accessing the following link: https://abundant.co/thefaithmissionincan/give. Rosemary will be remembered for a life fully devoted to God.
