Passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, following a lengthy illness on Saturday April 24, 2021 in her 58th year. Beloved wife of Thomas Melnychuk and devoted mother of Myles Melnychuk. Loving daughter of Anne Lawrence (Zahorodniuk) and Gordon Lawrence (2020). Fondly remembered by her brother Blaine Lawrence (Carina) and their daughters Inez and Morgan. No services will be held at this time, but a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Sharon loved dance as a child and studied tap & ballet. She loved the outdoors, the wonders of nature and all living creatures. With an exceptional eye for art and beauty, Sharon enjoyed drawing and painting. Sharon’s early working years were in the insurance industry but later choose the food industry where she could apply her love of food & cooking, often catering events over the years for her husband’s business and retired at 40 to focus on her family and home life. Sharon had a wonderful sense of humour, putting those at ease who were fortunate enough to spend time with her. Sharon was very generous, always giving those what she could when she did not even have enough for herself at times. With a curious mind Sharon had a strong interest in science, researching and studying the sun’s effects on earth and would attend conferences in the U.S. Sharon enjoyed golf and wondered why everyone would not be taken by the activity of driving small vehicles in beautiful scenery, playing a game while enjoying a cool beverage on a summer’s day. She will be missed by many but will remain in our hearts and memories. Donations can be made to Groves Memorial Hospital or the Humane Society. Arrangements entrusted to the Graham A.
