Langdon, Elmer Ray; Peacefully at Caressant Care Nursing Home, Arthur on Thursday, November 13, 2008 in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Mary Langdon of Alma. Dear father of Ken and Peggy Langdon of Belwood, Joyce and Dan Macdougall of Elora, Jean and Ken Halls and Dave and Anna Langdon, all of Alma. Father to Jim and Lori Ellis of London, Robert and Susan Ellis of Elmira, Russell Ellis and his friend Mary of West Montrose and Carl and Karen Ellis of Mt. Forest. Loving grandpa of twenty two grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by his sister Jean Hanna of Elora. Survived by sisters-in-law Maryon Langdon of Las Vegas, Irene Howitt of Arthur, Bessie (Dale) Gourlay of Kitchener and Shirley (Don) Densmore of Mt. Forest and brothers-in-law Charlie (Ivy) Leith of Clifford and Brian (Sandi) Leith of Christopher Lake, Sask. Predeceased by first wife Beryl Langdon (1986), son Jack Langdon and brothers Ray and Art Langdon. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home 243 George St., Arthur on Sunday, November 16, 2008 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The funeral service was held from the Alma Presbyterian Church, Alma on Monday, November 17, 2008 at 1pm. Interment Belsyde Cemetery, Fergus followed. Remembrances to Groves Memorial Hospital Foundation CT Scan or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
