LADHAM, Pam [Pamelia]

LADHAM, Pam [Pamelia] was born in 1960 and died February 2018. Pam was the youngest sister of Lucy Ladham-Dyment and Beatrice Ladham-O’Neil. Pam leaves behind sister Lucy, Nephew Ian [Tanya] and Grandniece Dayna, her Niece Michelle, her partner in Crime Beatrice [Dwayne], Nephew David and Nieces Elizabeth and Amber. Pam visited Italy, Ireland and lived in England with family for a while. She loved to tell us about climbing a mountain, the rings she had and climbing the ladder to clean out the eaves of her home. When young she used to climb out the window and sit on the roof. She climbed a tree – so many times – that our parents had it cut down – so she would not get electrocuted. She loved to sit outside and watch the birds, especially Sea Gulls and imitating them. Her last 10 weeks were spent in peace and quiet in her new long term care home. She watched the birds from multiple windows. She loved cats, dog licks and tolerated the squirrels. She loved sunflowers, lily of the valley and lilacs. Pam died after suffering from Vascular Dementia for over 12 years. There will be a celebration of life at The Elora Art Centre in March. Burial will take place in Montreal in the summer.
