Of Drayton passed away peacefully at the Conestoga Crest on Wednesday, March 27, 2024 in her 93rd year. Mina will be forever loved by Gerry, her spouse of 70 years. Cherished mother of John and Diana of Arthur, Bill and Jane of Elmwood, Fred and Cindy of Arthur, Teresa and Paul of Waterloo, Susan and Mike of Kitchener, Sylvia and Dan of Kitchener. Treasured Oma of Jen and Steve, Jeff and Elissa, Leah and Tyler, Tracy and Mike, Trish, Ryan and Marielle, James and Stephanie, Rosie, Sarah and Tyler, Alex and Amy, Jocelyn and Kevin, Alison and Kyle, Mackenzie, Stephanie, Nicole, Matthew and Tena. Also adored by 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Remembered by sister Grace (the late John DeBoer), sister Riek (the late Geert TenKate and the late Johan Kok), brother Bill and his wife Joanne, brother in law Jan (the late Tryntje), sister in law Roelie and her husband Roelof. Predeceased by her parents Willem van Lenthe and Tryntje Kok and in laws Jan Krul and Hilligje Dekker, brother Tiem and his wife Marry, sister in law Geesje and her husband Gerrit, and brother in law Jan (in infancy). Private family burial in Drayton Cemetery on Saturday, March 30, 2024. A Celebration of Life service was held on Monday, April 1st at 11:00am at the Drayton Reformed Church. Special thanks to the care team from Waterloo Wellington Home Care who made it possible to fulfill Mina’s wishes of staying home until the end of her life.
