Klasen, George; of Palmerston passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, September 9, 2013 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of Alice (Lise) Klasen for 59 years. Dear father of Gerty and Hank Ottens of Moorefield, John and Jane Klasen of Londesboro, Jane and Bill Krul of Elmwood, Irene and Bernie Dobben of Drayton and Stan and Charlene Klasen of Palmerston. Loving Opa of 15 grand and 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased by one grandson. Fondly remembered by many nieces nephews and friends. The family received friends at the Heritage Funeral Home, Palmerston on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. Pastor Andrew de Gelder conducted the Funeral Service in the Palmerston Christian Reformed Church, on Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. followed by Interment Palmerston Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Cancer Society or the Palmerston Christian Reformed Church building fund would be appreciated by the family.
