JUERGENSEN, Hildegard Monica – On December 9, 2016, Hildegard Juergensen of RR2 Durham passed away peacefully at the age of 86 years. She will be greatly missed by her children Hans (Cathy) and Carl (Brandy); grandchildren Max, Adam and Rhys, Cale, Jillian and Evan; as well as her sister Annemie Tobler, nieces and nephews. Hildegard was a great lover of the outdoors who enjoyed the peace and stillness of life in her log cabin. She had an unwavering optimism for the future path of each of her grandchildren, and will continue that as their spirit guide. A celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 308, 271 Bruce St. N., Durham from 2:00-6:00 p.m., reflections were at 2:00 and refreshments followed. Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at Hospice Wellington in Guelph for their exceptional care. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Wellington.
