Jennings, James Frederick (Jim) – Of Centre Wellington (formerly of Guelph) passed away very serenely at Groves Memorial Community Hospital on Thursday, August 19, 2010 in his 75th year. Beloved and devoted husband and companion of over 50 years to his cherished wife Verna Jean Jennings (nee MacDonald). Loved and treasured father and father-in-law of Shari and her husband Wolfgang Voegele; Glenn and his wife Gerri; and Susan and her husband Brian Philip. Sadly, Jim was predeceased by darling daughter Cindy Jean. Also predeceased by his loving parents Zebedee Joseph and Rita Jennings, and dear sister and brother-in-law Joyce and Bruce Shannon. Jim was a dear son-in-law of the late Ruby and Hugh MacDonald. Also a loved brother-in-law to Donna and George Fountain and much loved uncle and great-uncle. Jim was also a loving grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 7. Jim’s kind spirit, love of animals, and enormous sense of humour will be forever missed by all. He will also be greatly missed by his 3 best friends; Bo, Casper and Lady. Cremation has taken place. At Jim’s request there will be no service or visitation and interment will take place, at a later date, at Woodlawn Memorial Park, Guelph.
