IRELAND, Stuart Ivan; of Arthur passed away peacefully at Groves Memorial Hospital, Fergus surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Ila Ireland (2013) for 67 years. Dear father of Ivan (Debbie) of Arthur, Verne (Susan) of Newmarket, Mervin (Rose-Marie), Lorne (Teresa), Ruth (Neil) Allsop and Glenn (Linda) all of Arthur. Much loved grandfather of nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents John and Beatrice Ireland and siblings Grace Gowland, Norman Ireland, Wilma Johnson, Harvey Ireland and Ivadel Ireland. The family received friends at the Crawford Funeral Home, 243 George St. Arthur, on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service was held from the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 149 Frederick St. E. Arthur, on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. Spring Interment Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur.
