Step-mother of Christopher Hughes and his wife Ellen of Greely, Kathryn Lyle and her husband Brian of St. Thomas, Elizabeth Clarke and her husband Paul of New Westminster, B.C. and Jonathan Hughes and his wife Dale of Calgary and grandmother of Rory Hughes, Keifer Hughes, Lauren Hughes, Deren Lyle, Kara Lyle, Noah Clarke and Ethan Clarke. Sister of Eileen Rosskopf and her husband Beverley J. of Owen Sound.
Remembered by her nieces and nephews Predeceased by her 1st husband, Gerald Cavell, her brother Ivan Rourke, and by her parents Stanley and Margaret (Byers) Rourke. Friends called at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A memorial service was held from Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church, Harriston on Monday, February 18 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Dennis Wright officiating. Interment in Harriston Cemetery. Memorial donations to Knox-Calvin Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
