Howsam, Ruth Elizabeth (nee Jackson); Peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at the Riverside Glenn, in Guelph, Ruth Howsam in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Edmund Tinker (1944) and the late Ernest Howsam (1971). Loving mother of David (Anne) Tinker of Elora. Dearest grandmother of Karen Tinker (Eric Deschenes) of Mansonville, Que, Paul Tinker (Kelly) of Hamilton and Philip Tinker (So Young Kim) of Toronto. Loved great grandmother of Madison, Jackson, Felix, Grace, Matthew and Gabriel. Dear sister of Gwen Denney of Willowdale and Lloyd Jackson of Elliot Lake. Ruth is survived by a number of nieces, nephews and other family members. Pre-deceased by sisters Frances and Kathleen. The family received their friends at the GRAHAM A. GIDDY FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 37 CHURCH STREET, ELORA From 2-4 and 7-9pm on Tuesday, December 9th. On Wednesday, December 10th the family received their friends from 11:30am until time of service at 1:30pm at the St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church corner of Smith St. and Henderson St. Elora. Cremation has taken place, the urn was interred at St. Johns York Mills Anglican Cemetery in Toronto on Thursday, December 11th at 10:30am.
