HORTON, Jean Elizabeth (Nee Ritchie) of Palmerston passed away peacefully at the Palmerston and District Hospital on Sunday, April 8, 2018 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Floyd (Bill) Horton (1999). Loving mother of the late Greg Horton (2006) and his wife Debbie of Orangeville, the late Sharon (2016) and her husband Lorn Scott of Parry Sound, Willy Horton and his wife Twila of Edmonton, Alberta, Stephen Horton and his wife Terry of Palmerston and Linda and her husband Richard Buckley of Palmerston. Cherished grandmother of Brad and Melanie Horton of Orangeville, Kelly and Mike Lehman of Orangeville; Larry and Carolyn Scott of Edmonton, B.J. and Jim Stevens of Port Carling; Chelsea Horton and her friend Jesse of Edmonton, Justin and Samantha Horton of Edmonton; Chris Horton of Palmerston, Nikki and Jozef Mikulec of Arthur; Billy Buckley of Palmerston and Jessica Buckley and her friend Braydon of Palmerston. Great grandmother of Ellie, Maddi, Aubrie, Kenzie, Gabrielle, Haley, Jorja, Sydney, Danica, Kendra and Xavier. Predeceased by one sister Winnifred in infancy and one brother Lyle Ritchie. To honour Jean’s wishes cremation has taken place.
