Hooson, Betty; Passed away at home, in Rockwood, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. Betty Hooson was the beloved wife and best friend for over 57 years of Eric Hooson. She was the dear mother of Julie, Lorraine and Kathryn and she was the loving Nana of Daniel, Rachael, Rebecca, Josh, Hailey and Emma. Betty is survived by her three sisters Jean, Renee and Kath. The family wish to thank Dr. Gary Wallace and his staff, Dr. Lund and his palliative care team, Bayshore Nursing Care and the CCAC. Friends were invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel, 117 Guelph St., Rockwood, Ontario on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 12 – 1 p.m. A Memorial Service followed at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
