Hogg, Bryce Douglas; Taken by Mother Earth in a water-related accident on July 10, 2013…She returned him to his loved ones on July 14. The family thanks the many who assisted in bringing him home. He was 15 years old, loved the outdoors and was cherished by all who knew him. Bryce was predeceased by grandfathers Ron Clayton, Ralph McKinley Hogg, and his first dog Tye who waited for him at heaven’s door. He was the beloved son of his parents Ralph and Susan Hogg, his older sister Brianne, grandparents Pat Hogg, Carla and Bob Mathies, aunts and uncles Joyce and Bob Mason, Mike and Cheryl Carlo, Kim and Pete Burgess, Mark and Lori Samis, and Rich Hogg. Visitation was held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David Street South, Fergus on Wednesday, July 17 from 7pm-9pm and Thursday, July 18, from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11:00 am at The Centre Wellington District High School, 905 Scotland St. Fergus. Donations will be received on behalf of the Bryce Hogg Memorial Fund, dedicated to improving water safety on the Grand River.
