Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph on Tuesday, October 31, 2023, in his 87th year. Reunited at last with his beloved wife, Marian (née Stark) (2014). Loving father of Julianne (Clint) Horney of Kitchener, Jennifer (Scott) Harrison of Rockwood and Jocelyne (Byram) Bridle of Guelph. Proud Granddad & Pappy of Meghan, Eric, Madelaine, Benjamin and Jonathan, step Granddad to Kayla, Kai and Alyssa, and step Great Grandad to Carter, Amelia and Ava. Loving brother of Raymond (Beverly) Hoffer of Owen Sound & Ronald (Diane) Hoffer of Summerside, PEI. Fondly remembered by nieces Lauren & Courtney & many cousins & extended family. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Doris Hoffer (née Bird). Visitation was held at Central Pentecostal Church, 7674 Colborne Street, Elora on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 6-pm. A funeral service took place at the church on Monday, November 6, 2023 at 1pm. Following the service, guests were invited to gather in the church’s reception hall for a time of fellowship and refreshments. The family attended a private interment at the Elora Municipal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ralph may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Central Pentecostal Church, and are greatly appreciated by his family.
