Of Arthur passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 2, 2022 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of the late Dianne Hewitson for 26 years. Cherished father of Jason and Karen Hewitson of Guelph and Crystal Hewitson and Adam, Travis Hewitson and Johnathan Hewitson all of Arthur. Grandfather of Alissa, Braiden, Chloe, Michaela, Savannah, Presley, Emily and MacKenzie. Son of the late Edward and Dorothy Hewitson. Brother of Bonnie and Jim McQuillin, Sharon and Leo Cozzarin, Colleen and Bill Gray, Don and Rose Hewitson, Laurie Brohman and Dan, Brenda Hewitson, Ted and Carla Hewitson and Terry and Carrie Hewitson. Son-in-law of Ken Herriot and the late Gail Herriot (2019). Brother-in-law of Michael Herriot and Ruth of Arthur and Lisa Herriot of Arthur. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends at the Crawford Funeral Chapel, 243 George Street Arthur on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm. A Memorial Service of Remembrance will be held in the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Arthur on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 11:00am. Private family interment in Greenfield Cemetery, Arthur. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
