Henderson, David Bruce; With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of our wonderful father, David Henderson, on February 25, 2008 at Freeport Hospital, at the age of 64 years. Loving father to Anthony, Shelley (John Hancock), Robert (Rebecca Preece), Carrie (Troy) Lawlor, and Kathy. Devoted “Poppi” to grandchildren Josh, Robbie, Aaron, Amber, Meghan, Dylan, Kelsey, Katelyn, Brayden, and one great granddaughter MacKenzie. Will be deeply missed by sisters Betty (Merv) Cowan, June (Ronnie) Evans, Dorothy (Bear) Mole and his best friend (four legged) Mindy. David was an avid sportsfan which included coaching ball, stock car racing, fishing (catching the big one), as well as being a musician and above all else spending time with his grandchildren. Family received friends at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home, 280 St. David St.S. Fergus on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral service was held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 27 at 11am. Visitation was held one hour prior to service.
