Adoring husband to Joan for 63 years, loving father to John (Deb), Dan (Irene), Joanne (Lenny) and David (Corlyss). Jack is predeceased by his parents John and Mary and siblings Michael and Teresa, he will be forever remembered by many extended family and friends. Jack had a very successful career as a director at the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs for over 30 years, including a 3-year assignment with the University of Ghana where he moved Joan and his young family to Ghana, West Africa. Jack and Joan throughout their married life travelled to over 40 countries. Also a long time member of the Guelph Wellington Men’s Club, Jack always had a great connection to the community. He enjoyed a long almost 30 year retirement, loading up the RV with Joan heading to various campsites in Florida from before Christmas until after Easter, and visiting Ontario parks throughout the summer. He also cherished the trips across Canada he took with his grandchildren. When Jack could no longer travel, he devoted himself to spending time with his family, sharing stories in the sunroom and enjoyed the occasional sip of Crown Royal.
