Green, Allan A.; peacefully at The Newmarket Health Centre on Saturday, August 30, 2014 with family by his side. Al was born on April 25, 1930 to Ansley and Alice Green. He is predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Norma. Dear father of Sherry of Toronto and Shelly of Willow Beach. Al had a 40-year career with Moore Business Forms in Toronto and Fergus. Norma and Al built their dream home on Lake Simcoe in Beaverton and enjoyed many happy years there. In recent years Al faced the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and cancer with grace, maintaining his cheerful personality to the very end. The family would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of NHC 2 North and 2 South. Family and friends were invited to attend the funeral service at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 383 Osborne St., Beaverton on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 11 A.M. Private family interment will be held at St. John’s Cemetery, Cookstown.
