GRAHAM, Ralph After a hard-fought battle with aggressive cancer, Ralph passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 19, 2018 surrounded by family in the comfort of his own home, as was his wishes. Ralph is survived by his wife of 43 years Ollie (Green); daughter Julie & son-in-law Howard Dalal, son Dave (Aimee) and 2 beautiful and loving grandchildren Austin & Kylie; his sister Donna & brother-in-law Ken Blackwell and nieces Heather, Bev, Amy and their families. Predeceased by his parents Hazel & Howard. Ralph will be missed by his brother and sister-in-law Butch & Agnes Green; his sisters-in-law Jo (late Ed) McQueen & Dianne (late Bob) MacPherson. Ralph was born in Grand Valley, Ontario. When Ralph was about 7 years old the family moved to Marsville. As a teenager and young adult Ralph custom farmed with his father. Ralph worked for the city of Guelph in the Engineering department for 3 years before returning to his first love, full-time farming. In 1974 he bought a nearby farm to start his newly married life with Ollie. Ralph & Ollie owned & operated Graham Farm Elevators from 1974-2005 when he sold the land and elevator to Woodrill Farms LTD. Ralph & Ollie moved over a concession and built their retirement home. The following year Ralph built his dream shop where he restored antique tractors and farm equipment. Retirement was not meant for Ralph, he soon went to work for Sheridan Nurseries as a Farm Manager. After 3 years he tried retirement again, it didn’t last long. Ralph went to work for Dupont Pioneer as a Territory Assistant until his health forced him to retire at the end of June 2018. Ralph has gone to join his parents and good friends Bob & Rick. The family will receive friends at Dods & McNair Funeral Home & Chapel, 21 First St., Orangeville on Friday, July 27 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 -9:00 p.m. and Saturday at 10:00 a.m. before Chapel Service at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations to the new Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus would be appreciated.
